After Party Care!
The skin is the largest dynamic organ with a constant and variable protective function formed by three main layers: epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. These layers undergo various physiological changes during the end-of-year parties due to the heat, excessive use of make-up and pollution.
Besides the skin, hair and feet also suffer from the end-of-year excesses.
Here are a few tips to help you restore your body's health and start a beautiful new year.
Cleanse and exfoliate your face
At the end of the year it is common to wear more make-up. Covering the skin with foundation causes damage to the cells which can lead to clogged pores and a bad appearance. This is why it is necessary to remove your make-up before going to sleep. The solution is to remove your makeup with a cotton pad or soft compress and a cleanser suitable for your skin. After removing all your make-up, wash your face with a suitable soap. Finish with a good moisturising and nourishing night cream.
The tip is to use makeup remover twice to make sure no residue has remained after cleansing and to have an exfoliation routine. Exfoliating three times a week is sufficient. If you don't have makeup remover use a moisturising cream.
You can also use cool thermal spa water all over your face. This will soothe the skin, reduce dark circles and brighten the skin. For dark circles under the eyes, you can also use compresses of very cold chamomile tea for 10 minutes.
Hair
When it comes to hair, nothing is worse than the smell of cigarettes, smoke, barbecue. In addition to a shampoo suitable for your hair type, there are finishing creams that should be applied before bedtime. The cream will give your hair shine, softness and healthy looking hair, besides eliminating any type of odour.
Feet
Massage your tired and aching feet with a good moisturising cream to improve circulation and elevate your legs to sleep by placing a pillow under them. If you have blisters, do not break them to avoid infection. Clean them and use a healing cream or a suitable dressing.
Take extra care with your diet
It's diet time, after so many parties. Much of what goes into the body is reflected on the outside. The recommendation is to eat fresh and organic foods, such as avocado, salmon and sardines and detox juices. After the holidays it is important to get back to routine and avoid fried foods, fats, sugars, cigarettes and alcohol. These are largely responsible for the lack of nutrients and sedentariness. They form a perfect combination for ugly, devitalised skin. No cream will work.
Drink lots of water.
Rest
The last tip for perfect skin is sleep. Getting a good night's sleep can improve your skin dramatically. Take a break from late nights.
